Registration guidelines
ESGCT is using a new booking platform for 2025. To register for the ESGCT Congress, you will need to create a new account (even if you had an ESGCT user account previously), and follow the steps to complete the registration process. Once you have registered, you will receive a registration confirmation email which includes a link to your personal 'Event Portal'. From here you can submit abstracts and view and manage your event registration.
Registration is in English and the congress currency is EURO €

Early-bird registration rates
All registrations receive the early-bird registration discount rate up to and including the day announced as the early-bird deadline. Payment for early-bird invoices are due within 2 weeks of the invoice date; any that remain unpaid by 31st May 2025 will be moved to the standard congress registration rate.

Abstract submissions
Abstracts can be submitted once your congress registration is complete; you will receive a link to your personal Event Portal, where you can submit and manage your abstracts. Delegates must be registered for the congress prior to submitting an abstract. Registrations must be paid for based on the general payment guidelines for all registrations; however those submitting abstracts can avail of a full refund should their abstract not be selected for oral or poster presentations and the delegate no longer wishes to attend the congress.

Payment information
Payment by credit or debit card is preferred and will ensure your registration is activated immediately; our payment services are handled by STRIPE. Please note that you do NOT need to have an account with STRIPE in order to use this service.

Payments by bank transfer must be received within 2 weeks of your invoice date.

Early-bird registrations must be paid in full by 2 weeks after the early bird deadline otherwise they will be changed to the regular congress rate.

All unpaid registrations for which correspondence has not been received 10 days before the event will be deleted.

Invoicing
If you choose to pay by invoice, you will receive your invoice as an email attachment with your registration confirmation email. PLEASE NOTE that no separate invoices will be created or sent by the congress office.
Once payment has been received you will be sent a payment confirmation email.

Cancellation and substitution information
Partial refunds are offered for cancellations received up to 20 days before the event. Please note the percentage of refund available is dependent on the amount of notice received. See our Registration Cancellation Policy outlined in the Registration Terms and Conditions for full details.

​Molecular Mingle tickets
Tickets for the main congress networking event, the Molecular Mingle, must be bought in advance, either at the same time as you register or later on. Tickets cost €50 per delegate.

Certificates
A Certificate of Attendance and a Certificate of Presentation (where applicable) will be available in your online 'Event Portal'.

​​To show our support for Ukraine, and in accordance with current European positions and sanctions, the ESGCT Board has taken the decision not to accept congress registrations from Russian or Belarusian institutions paid on behalf of researchers based at or affiliated with them.

We know that many Russian academics are actively opposed to the war against Ukraine and we acknowledge their civil courage. However, we cannot accept your registration for the ESGCT Congress.​
