Dr. Ivana Trapani is Research Associate at the Department of Advanced Biomedicine of the “Federico II” University of Naples and Assistant Investigator at the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine (TIGEM; Pozzuoli, Italy). Her main research interest over the last 10 years has been the development of approaches to overcome the small cargo capacity of adeno-associated viral vectors. Her studies led to the identification of various strategies to efficiently reconstitute large proteins through different mechanisms.
